It’s just over a month until a day out in the sun at Wembley (Well hopefully in the sun) and the two big questions a lot of fans have been asking, with the tickets going on sale next Thursday, are, “What time will kick off be?” and “How much will the tickets cost?” Peterborough have announced this already.

There was a rogue suggestion that kick off could be as late as 7pm which would have been a bit of a logistic nauze to be completely honest, mainly because I wasn’t planning to stop over, but 3pm is much more palatable and it turns out this is the current time for it. I reckon if it had been a Blues Wrexham final they would have tried to move it to accommodate American audiences so I’m even more glad it’s Peterborough.
Along with the kick off time the ticket prices have been released. I’m not sure if there’s any variation by club, I doubt it, so I think therefore it’s safe to say that the prices Peterborough have released will be the end price. The highest category tickets come in at £60, which for a day out at Wembley isn’t too shabby. The largest portion of tickets are the cheapest, albeit up in the gods, and are just 20 quid a ticket. The tickets that will no doubt be most common are just £36.
There is also a solid deal for under 16’s with all areas just £10 a ticket meaning you could quite easily sort an adult and child for under 50 quid which for me and the lad making amazing memories is fantastic. Another thing to note is Peterborough have been allocated just over 25,000 tickets initially in comparison to Blues 36,900 odd. There was at one point concern that fans may miss out but with talks of Posh striking a deal to give Blues more tickets I genuinely don’t think anyone will miss out at all.
It looks set to be a fantastic day and one not to miss, here’s to joys, lets keep right on!
